MODALITY OF RESPONSE

 

On the series of MODALITY,

This week the Holy Spirit Will help us to consider the 'MODALITY OF RESPONSE'

God's call is upon every being in the image of God. The misconception that only men of God like Pastors, Prophets, Evangelists, Apostles, Teachers, music ministers, drama ministers,etc are called for the purpose of continuining the work Christ started in the New testament, has  made many Christians useful for the devil and of course the devil is now using them as his weapon inside the church. They are believers and going to church, but are terrorists in heart, and sometimes it shows just like a smoke in their acts.

There is a call to Service for every Christian, one of which the Apostles discovered in Acts chapter four, the latter part of the chapter, and everyone begins to sell what he has to make no one lack anything good. But a husband and a wife (Ananias and Sapphira) thought it was a show-off party so they put in with deception and got the reward immediately.

Matthew 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

Why was few chosen?

Matthew 22:2-13  The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 

But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

(He came to his own...John 1:11)

Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

We are not qualified to be his, but grace gave us the chance to be called one, yet, the response of many is deceptive. Their response was like many are going there and working for God so let me join them, that was the issue of the man without the wedding cloth.

He doesn't know the dress code, the required approach of response,(Holiness, righteousness, full/complete/total obedience, total surrender, complete yieldedness etc), he thought it was just to be in the circle of Godly people. No. It goes beyond that. 

You might be living in an Apostle's house or even you are now a called prophet, if your response is not what he needed you will be casted out after spending reasonable time.

Don't live in a reasonable environment with a useless heart of response to God's original call for Service. Service in deception in waste of Life.

Luke 14:26
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
